Dr. Mithunan Maheswaranathan is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Duke University, specializing in Rheumatology and Immunology. With a deep commitment to academic medicine and patient-centered care, he brings advanced training and expertise in diagnosing and managing complex rheumatologic conditions.

Dr. Maheswaranathan earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine (2014–2018) at the same institution, followed by a fellowship in Rheumatology at Duke University School of Medicine (2018–2020). His training at top-tier institutions has shaped his clinical approach, combining research-driven insights with compassionate care.
