Dr. Muhammad Ahsan Zafar is a highly experienced physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is the CEO & Founder of Dr Smart Team, a healthcare organization dedicated to providing innovative healthcare solutions and improving patient outcomes through the use of smart technology and advanced medical practices.
Currently serving as the Medical Director of Pulmonary Rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Dr. Zafar leads initiatives to improve the care and rehabilitation of patients with chronic respiratory diseases. His clinical expertise spans respiratory health, sleep medicine, critical care, and cardiovascular health, where he applies a patient-centered approach to deliver the highest standards of care.
Dr. Zafar holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He completed his medical training at Aga Khan University in Pakistan, followed by a residency at University of Cincinnati and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Additionally, he earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Translational Research from the University of Cincinnati.
